Who you are going to work for

In Code & Pepper a Product Owner has a real influence on the product development process, acting as the client’s support on the scope metrics and product goals. The role is responsible for maximizing the value delivered to our clients and end-users in developed digital products. Refining requirements, team–client communication management and specification preparation will be the focus of your day-to-day tasks.

What you will be doing

  • Leading the development team in terms of scope delivery
  • Backlog management
  • Gathering, evaluating and analysing the business requirements
  • Being an advocate of value-based decision making, explaining all internal and external product dependencies to all stakeholders involved in the decision-making process
  • Communicating internal and external product dependencies to all stakeholders involved in the decision-making process
  • Coordinating communication between the client and the dev team 
  • Facilitating Product Owner-owned Scrum events

Who we are looking for

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in Product Ownership, Proxy Product Ownership or a Business Analyst role
  • Ability to identify and shape business needs into product requirements through workshops, interviews, prototyping, and other techniques
  • Experience in backlog management
  • Experience in developing user stories and defining acceptance criteria
  • Previously involved in a client-facing role in international environment
  • Independence, attention to details, a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent communication in English (speaking and writing)

Nice to have

  • Practical knowledge of Scrum
  • Experience with User Acceptance testing
  • Understanding of the Product Discovery process
  • Open to knowledge sharing and mentoring
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence
