The role of Product Owner in Code & Pepper

Product Owner is responsible for maximising value delivered to our clients and end users in the process of developing digital products. Defining requirements, prioritising them into an executable roadmap and monitoring implementation will be the focus of your day-to-day tasks. 

Your responsibilities

  • We want you to be a leader in the process of discovering product requirements: from choosing the right discovery method to writing down the key requirements. Your responsibility will be to facilitate the process that should conclude with a clear definition of development-ready requirements.
  • We want you to manage priorities in the product roadmap/backlog. You should be ready to communicate this process to our clients.
  • As part of the Development Team, you will be expected to deliver a clear definition of requirements for the incoming sprints.
  • During development, you will be an advocate of value-based decision making. Your job will be to explain all internal and external product dependencies to all stakeholders involved in the decision making process.

  • Ability to work on different levels of product creation: from vision/ideation down to a detailed functional specification
  • Deep understanding of prioritisation, maximising value and reducing waste
  • Hands-on experience with modern software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Perfect organisation skills and ability to multitask in various projects
  • Very good command of English (speaking and writing)
  • Technical or UX/design background would be a plus
