2020 was a breakthrough year for Code & Pepper. Not only have we realized exciting FinTech projects, but also managed to grow our team by 93%. These successes were recognized by the world-famous Forbes magazine. We are proud to announce that Code & Pepper has been awarded with the Forbes Diamond 2021 award!
Forbes Diamonds are the most prestigious awards for the fastest growing companies in Poland. Together with Bisnode, a European leader in data analysis, Forbes’s editorial board prepared a list of Polish companies whose value rose the most rapidly throughout the past three years. Only businesses that had officially reported their financial statements were taken into consideration.
Candidates were divided into three groups:
- small businesses, with revenues between 5 and 50 million PLN
- medium sized companies, with revenues between 50 and 250 million PLN
- large enterprises, with revenues exceeding 250 million PLN
Based on information gathered by Bisnode about the period between 2015 and 2019, a record-long list of over 15,000 contenders was prepared. In order to make it fair, financial institutions, like banks, were excluded from the contest.
Then, Bisnode’s analytics experts, using the Swiss assessment method which combines the income and asset-based approaches, performed calculations and found out who deserved a Diamond. This methodology was chosen to make sure that companies which had invested a lot (those that may have seemed to have lower revenues at a first glance) could be treated properly.
We are among the winners, as the third fastest growing company in our category in the country and the fastest one in our region.
