AWS Services. Amazon Web Services Consulting Company

AWS consulting goes beyond the code. We can create your digital product from top to bottom but we can also significantly boost its performance. By going with Amazon AWS cloud, you can guarantee not only the performance but also the scalability of your application.

AWS services for future-proof
digital products

As an AWS consulting partner, we know which factor is decisive to keep the product on the market. If we had to pick one, it would be scalability. Amazon is the most experienced cloud provider out there. Solutions are mature, the support excellent and multiplicity of microservices we can apply to your product impressive.

Our AWS services include not only native building for Amazon Web Services cloud but also product migration, AWS consulting, choosing the best set of services to build your app, and more. We can help you with cloud computing services but what we do is a 360-degree approach to your application’s needs.

Key AWS services we use in projects

Here’s a brief AWS services list. These services help us build and enhance applications. At Code & Pepper, we use the following: Amazon Simple Storage Service, Amazon Pinpoint, AWS Lambda, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Elastic MapReduce, and Amazon X-Ray.

AWS Well-Architected Framework

We follow the AWS Well-Architected Framework, which describes the key concepts, design principles, and architectural best practices. The five pillars of security, reliability, performance, operations and costs are our standard checklist when designing new solutions. We also extend the AWS Well-Architected Framework through specialised Lenses, e.g. in the area of financial services, serverless and analytics.

Shared Responsibility Model

Security is one of the most important aspects of software development, especially for FinTech. We understand perfectly AWS’s Shared Responsibility Model and we take responsibility for our part: “Security in the Cloud”, e.g. encryption or following the principle of least privilege. That way you don’t have to worry about data leaks and other unwanted events – we do our part and are backed by the world giant on other end.

Infrastructure as Code

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is another example of our best practices. It can eliminate the error-prone, manual process of provisioning infrastructure and open opportunities for some advanced Continuous Deployment methods like canary or blue-green deployments. We define our infrastructure using AWS Cloud Development Kit and general purpose languages like TypeScript.

We are an official
AWS Consulting Partner

Your product is only as good as people who design, build, test, and enhance it. We offer complete AWS services for building and AWS consulting for maintenance, migration, and post-launch support. We have 5 certified AWS engineers on board, ready to share their expertise and find the best solutions for your product.

Do you have a startup?
Then AWS has something for you

With the AWS Activate program, you can get free tools, resources and benefit from a quick start on AWS. Many entrepreneurs wonder: software infrastructure architecture – server or serverless? With our AWS consulting services you won’t have that dilemma. We can guide you through the development process and help with the AWS Activate application.

We prefer a serverless model

We can build an app using the monolith method but it will cause easily avoidable challenges. By going with Amazon Web Services cloud,
we assure multiple benefits for our developers, you as our client, and your customers.
Benefits of the serverless approach include:

Overall efficiency

One of the key advantages of serverless approach is the ability to run application code from virtually anywhere. Without origin servers, you can launch applications from edge locations, which are close to end-users. It also reduces latency, which is crucial in many infrastructure and product implementation.

Higher scalability

The modular nature of the approach means that you can break a complex component and into smaller parts. Because they will be less complicated, you will have the chance to easier scale and manage parts of the application. The elements will also be easier to secure. Loosely couples block and integration – that’s the way!

Cost reduction

Serverless architecture optimizes economics by creating a really good long-term deal. By using servers, organizations pay for hosting idle code. With serverless, they pay only for the code that is executed. Meaning that in cloud computing execution model providers allocate resources on demand, saving money.

Simplified operations

Without servers, your need for constant attention and maintenance is gone. You don’t have to pay for keeping up the servers that don’t serve requests in a given moment. You don’t have to maintain them, care about uptime, security, people to take care of server rooms. You will cooperate with provider to scale servers up or down, depending on real market need and user usage.

Nimbla

Cloud-based invoice insurance platform changing the game of factoring services

Nimbla helps companies maintain safe and effective cash flow. Through a combination of invoice insurance and credit rating, the platform enables businesses to protect themselves against losses caused by late payments. Users can add invoices manually or via an integrated accounting software and insure single invoices against non-payment. The platform is cloud-based and accessible for desktop, iOS and Android devices.

Code & Pepper built the app architecture and code from scratch and deployed it to the cloud environment.

Our team of full-stack and front-end developers as well as DevOps and cloud experts implemented the design we’d prepared in our first project for Nimbla. We updated the platform’s technology stack and managed the whole project in Scrum.
